“In the heart of the Dolomites”…

 … between Fiemme and Fassa valleys, Predazzo is a well- known tourist location in Trentino. Since 1820 Predazzo has been related to tourism thanks to several great geological discoveries, but it is famous as well for its winter vocation. As a matter of fact, the “Scuola Alpina della Guardia di Finanza di Predazzo” has brought up many national and international ski champions, not only in the cross-country ski field and in other nordic sports, but also in the alpine ski world. Predazzo has hosted many international competitions, starting from the Marcialonga to the Nordic World Ski Championships of 1991 and 1993 and which are going to take place again here in Val di Fiemme in 2013, thanks to the Ski Jumping Stadium in Predazzo and the cross-country ski stadium in Lago di Tesero. Today many innovative sport facilities can be found here: from athletic tracks to swimming pools, from indoor and outdoor tennis courts to bocce fields, from ski slopes to ice skating stadiums, from horses stables to other facilities of minor sports. Among high quality tourist and sport facilities, Predazzo boasts the best mini-golf and miniaturegolf courses, respectively since 1963 and 2008. As an acknowledgment for such a privileged equipment, the Italian and European Federation of Concrete Golf chose Predazzo as the site for several Italian Championships at first, for Seniors European Championships in 2008 and now for the European of 2010. A big commitment but also a great acknowledgment to the organizing qualities of the “Minigolf Club Predazzo”, created more than 40 years ago and which has always been appreciated for its athletic reliability and for its familiar hosting solutions. This is the reason why the “Minigolf Club Predazzo” looks at the next European Championships with complete serenity, aware of the support coming from the municipality of Predazzo, the Autonomous Province of Trento, the local economic and tourist authorities and the many volunteers ready to collaborate for the best outcomes of the prestigious upcoming event.
